Our commitment
Springlite Care is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA, and we keep working on it as the site develops.
What we have done
- Pages use clear headings and a consistent structure so they are easy to follow with a screen reader.
- You can move through the whole site using a keyboard, and the item you are on is clearly highlighted.
- Images that carry meaning have written descriptions.
- Text and background colours are chosen for strong contrast, and the text can be enlarged in your browser without anything breaking.
- The site works on phones, tablets and computers.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, our animations are switched off.
- Forms have clear labels and tell you plainly if something needs correcting.
Known limitations
- The map on our Contact and Areas We Cover pages is provided by Google and may not be fully accessible. Our address and directions are also written out in text.
- The Care Quality Commission widget is provided by the CQC and its content is outside our control.
- Our brochure is a PDF. If you would prefer the same information in another format, such as large print or plain text, please ask and we will arrange it.
